Master Plant Dietas: Deep Healing with Plant Spirits

For those called to deeper work, master plant dietas offer intensive healing through extended isolation, dietary discipline, and daily medicine. Develop direct relationships with plant spirits guided by experienced curanderos.

What is a Master Plant Dieta?

A dieta (Spanish for 'diet') is a traditional Amazonian and Central American healing practice where you enter into a deep relationship with a specific master plant. This is not about nutrition, but about discipline, devotion, and direct communication with plant spirits.

During a dieta, you consume small amounts of a specific plant daily while following strict dietary restrictions, maintaining isolation, and often abstaining from sex, alcohol, and other substances. This purification creates the conditions for the plant's spirit to teach you, heal you, and sometimes transmit specific gifts or abilities.

The Master Plant Dieta is a process accompanied by Ayahuasca ceremonies, in which Maestros present the plant to you, straighten your diet, cleanse and close you up at the end of it.

Why Work with Master Plants?

Master plants—called 'doctoras' or teachers—are considered to be conscious, intelligent beings with specific healing properties and wisdom to impart. Different plants work on different aspects of health, energy, and spiritual development:

Physical Healing

Many master plants address chronic physical conditions

Energetic Clearing

Plants remove dense energies, mal aires, and spiritual intrusions

Spiritual Development

Deepen intuition, vision, and connection to the spirit world

Shamanic Training

For those called to work as healers themselves

Protection & Strength

Build energetic boundaries and inner resilience
