Maya

Ceremony Facilitator – Heart-Centered Guidance

Maya's journey into the world of plant medicine began not through seeking, but through witnessing. At 22, this young woman from the farmlands of southern Belize carries within her the grounded wisdom of rural life and the profound calling of sacred service.

Her path with Ayahuasca started when her parents arrived at this very center seeking healing. What unfolded was more than transformation — it was the birth of a spiritual family. Watching her parents' profound healing and experiencing the genuine care of the community changed Maya's life forever, planting the seeds that would eventually bloom into her own calling as a ceremony facilitator.

Though she has been working at the center for only a few months, Maya has embraced the whirlwind of growth, surprise, and deep connection that comes with holding sacred space. Each ceremony has pushed her to adapt quickly, show up with authentic presence, and meet others in their most vulnerable moments with unwavering support.

Maya's Approach to Ceremony
Sacred Holding

Maya understands that to be trusted during someone's most vulnerable and transformative moments is a profound responsibility. She approaches each ceremony with deep reverence, creating a safe, grounded, and heart-centered container where participants can explore, release, and reconnect.

Intuitive Presence
Drawing from her natural sensitivity and the wisdom gained through her own family's healing journey, Maya holds space with a presence that is both gentle and strong. Her ability to sense what each person needs in their moment of vulnerability allows her to provide exactly the right kind of support.

Authentic Connection
Maya's approach is rooted in genuine care and authentic connection. She doesn't simply facilitate ceremonies — she walks alongside participants on their journey, offering her heart, her presence, and her unwavering belief in the medicine's power to heal and transform.
